Regular Activities at The Horizon Centre

The Horizon Centre is home to a growing range of programmes and activities designed to bring people together, support families and create opportunities for learning, creativity and connection.

Our programmes aim to provide a welcoming environment where people of all ages can get involved, meet others and enjoy meaningful experiences within the community.

As the centre continues to develop, we look forward to introducing even more activities that reflect the interests and needs of the local community.

Horizons Kids Club

Horizons Kids Club is one of the exciting programmes offered at the Horizon Centre, designed to give children a fun, engaging and positive experience during the school holidays.

The programme provides a safe and welcoming environment where children can take part in a variety of activities, make new friends and enjoy their time away from school.

At the same time, Horizons Kids Club also gives parents and carers the opportunity to take a well-deserved break, run errands or simply have some time to themselves, knowing their children are in a supportive and structured setting.

Alongside our children’s programmes, the Horizon Centre is a space where a variety of regular activities and gatherings can take place for people across the community.

These programmes aim to encourage connection, wellbeing and shared experiences among local residents.

A relaxed and friendly programme where people can come together over tea or coffee, chat with others and enjoy simple activities such as board games, or quizzes.

Health and Wellbeing Sessions

Programmes designed to support physical and mental wellbeing, such as yoga classes, gentle fitness sessions, mindfulness workshops or group wellbeing discussions.

Creative Workshops

Hands-on sessions where people can explore creativity through activities like arts and crafts, painting classes, seasonal craft workshops or art projects.

Youth Groups and Clubs

Programmes for young people to socialise, take part in activities and build friendships, which may include after-school clubs, games nights, or creative and sports-based sessions.

Run a Programme at The Horizon Centre

The Horizon Centre is always open to new ideas and collaborations.

We welcome instructors, community leaders, charities and organisations who would like to run regular programmes, classes or activities at the centre.

If you have an idea for a programme that could benefit the community, we would love to hear from you.
