The Horizon Centre offers a growing range of community programmes in Berkhamsted, designed to bring people together, encourage wellbeing and create opportunities for learning, creativity and connection.

Horizons Kids Club
Horizons Kids Club is one of the exciting community programmes at The Horizon Centre, offering fun and engaging holiday activities for children in Berkhamsted. Every session is designed to help children stay active, explore their creativity, make new friends and enjoy their school holidays in a safe and welcoming environment.
Parents and carers can relax knowing their children are having fun in a supportive setting while they enjoy a well-earned break or take care of everyday commitments.

Weekly Quiz Nights
Join our popular weekly quiz night for a relaxed evening of friendly competition, laughter and community spirit.
Health and Wellbeing Sessions
Health and wellbeing programmes, including Yoga 4 Health and future wellbeing sessions, designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing.
Creative Workshops
Hands-on sessions where people can explore creativity through activities like arts and crafts, painting classes, seasonal craft workshops or art projects.
Youth Groups and Clubs
Programmes for young people to socialise, take part in activities and build friendships, which may include after-school clubs, games nights, or creative and sports-based sessions.
Yoga4Health: Supporting Health & Wellbeing Through Yoga
Yoga4Health is a 10-week health and wellbeing programme offered at The Horizon Centre, combining gentle yoga, breathing techniques, relaxation and lifestyle education in a supportive group setting.
Designed to help improve both physical and mental wellbeing, the programme is suitable for people looking to reduce stress, become more active, improve their overall health or simply take some time for themselves. Whether you’re completely new to yoga or have previous experience, Yoga4Health is welcoming and accessible for all abilities.
Commissioned by the NHS and supported by evidence-based research, Yoga4Health has helped participants improve their wellbeing while developing healthier habits that can be sustained long after the programme ends.
